The Wildlife Loop through Custer
State Park provides many opportunities to see wildlife.
Iron Mountain Road (US 16A) has "pigtail" bridges, where the highway passes over itself, then turns 270 degrees to pass under the bridge. You can see Mt Rushmore as you are going through some of the tunnels.
